Full Spectrum is a reflection of my journey as an artist. While creating this painting, I found myself thinking about everything that brought me to this moment… the victories, setbacks, lessons, and growth that shaped me along the way.

The title comes from the full spectrum of emotions expressed throughout the piece.. joy, confidence, grief, anger, fear, vulnerability, and hope. Rather than focusing on a single feeling, I allowed all of them to exist together on the canvas. 

At 72 x 60 inches, this was the largest painting I had created at the time. The scale challenged me to think bigger, move differently, and trust myself in new ways. Working on a canvas of this size gave me the freedom to fully immerse myself in the process and express emotions that felt too large for a smaller surface.

For me, Full Spectrum is a reminder that growth comes from embracing every part of the journey not just the highlights, but the difficult moments as well. Every layer, mark, and texture represents a different experience, coming together to form a complete picture of who I am becoming.
